My name it Tim Huhtala and I am the newest member of the Betty Hunter Realty family. My wife, Heather, and I have three teenage daughters. We enjoy spending time traveling as a family and making memories because as we have learned, time goes by way too fast. Most of my childhood was spent in Spearfish, South Dakota which, at the time, I considered a small town. After 26 years, I became tired of the cold and the snow and made my way to Arizona, where Bouse has been my home for about 10 years. Bouse is much, much smaller and I love the fact that I do not have to shovel sunshine here.
I decided at the beginning of year that I wanted to get my real estate license, it was something I had thought about doing for years, but the timing just never seemed to work out. One benefit of Covid was that so many things moved to online, so it was finally feasible to get it done. 90 hours of online classes, tests, and a lot of stress later, I am now a licensed real estate agent and honored to be working for Jef Johnson at Betty Hunter Realty. I have known him for many years and was honored that he wanted me to be a part of his team.
Jef’s years of knowledge of real estate, along with his knowledge of Bouse and the surrounding areas, is priceless; I am very eager to be able to learn from him. What I bring to BHR is my willingness to learn, listen, and work hard, making sure that I do everything in my power to provide my client or customer with the best service. Educating the buyer/seller is extremely important as well, so there are no surprises throughout the whole process. The client should have an enjoyable experience that ends with a relationship that last for years. After being in all different types of sales throughout my career, the biggest thing I’ve learned is not knowing everything or acting like you do, but being able to find the answer or point someone in the right direction.
I really enjoy visiting with people and look forward to helping the buying or selling journey in anyway that I can.
